What happens if I split a POE network cable

So from the main switch I have a network cable that is POE going to a Cambium Networks outdoor wifi AP about 70m odd away, this outdoor unit also then feeds another AP point about 20m away from it.

I have some buildings that are struggling to get stable wifi (thick walls, lot of trees around it) so I was thinking of splitting this cable along its route and adding in a switch/T piece and then running in a cable to the buildings and adding in some more wifi routers.

If I split this cable I assume I will still need to get a POE switch to keep the Cambium unit powered?
Or would one of these T piece splitters work and still keep the power on the cable?

Im not sure if this makes sense but the closest place to the buildings for me to split the cable doesnt have any power nearby, so If I need to have a POE switch on the split then I will also have to add in an electric cable and a outdoor socket and box etc for this.

Also if I split the cable and end up adding in a new switch does this then mean I can go the maximum 100m from the new switch or is there a length limitation?

The above will not work. They split your cable in two, so at best you will get 2x 100Mbps links with no PoE.

You will need a PoE injector + regular switch or a PoE switch in the middle. Every time you add a switch you can go another 100m (most limit this to 90m though).

You also get PoE extenders or what they call PoE Pass-Through. It effectively takes the incoming PoE and output a fresh PoE port. I actually have one next to me here.

That takes in 1 PoE (port 5) and delivers power over ports 1 & 2

I will also add, confirm that your Cambium AP uses regular PoE and not some other PoE (Ubiquiti uses 24V so you need their specific little brick.

I used this to run 2 IP cameras about 70m from an NVR using 1 LAN cable
Does not need power
It fitted into the camera back box
Both of these cameras are on top of a 6m pole, one faces east, the other west

Takealot have them

It does not need a PSU, it uses the PoE power from the NVR which has PoE inputs
Can you share the link. The one I'm seeing on Takealot does not specifically state that as a feature.

What do you mean it does not need power? It uses like a clover lead for power, no?
The picture is a procet injector so needs a clover as you said https://scoop.co.za/procet-gigabit-48v-15w-poe-adapter-with-no-cable-en15g-3.html

There are options like cudy poe in https://scoop.co.za/cudy-4-port-gigabit-poe-1-poe-input-60w-switch-poe40.html

Mikrotik outdoor poe in https://scoop.co.za/mikrotik-outdoor-poe-splitter-1x-90w-to-3x-30w-gper14i.html

Ubiquiti poe in https://scoop.co.za/ubiquiti-5-port-gigabit-1poe-in-4poe-out-unifi-flex-switch-usw-flex.html

check what poe you have going in and if you can split over the distance and do the power budget
