What happens to my Internet Explorers?

At the moment i use IE 8 for MyBB and Opera for other sites but they both crash when they find the need to annoy me. I then went through some old computer magazine discs and came across Firefox and installed it and updated it to see what the fuss was all about but now that its installed i don't know what to do with all my bookmarks and favourites on the other 2 browser programmes i am using.

i know i must import those things from those sites but when i tried doing it from the Opera programme nothing came out.

If i decide to use Firefox once i work out how it works what happens to those other 2 browsers, do i delete them off my pc or just leave them there?

I always knew IE8 (and all the previous versions too) had a built-in 'need to annoy' users. Clever stuff, all that AI.

But that Opera also has it, is news to me.

Perhaps we should start making a list of programs that have this 'need to annoy'.

Wayne, as for reclaiming your bookmarks, please click on "File" in Firefox, and then on "Import". The rest should come to you easily.

will have a look plazma. the thing is i like Opera because of the speed dials as it hase all my sites right there but with it crashing all the time i am really annoyed with it. IE 8 also crashes then recovers the tab or whatever it says but not as often as Opera.

well Firefox just crashed now too. oh well back to the drawing board.

thanks man let me have a look.

i did what plazma suggested and although there is an Opera folder under the bookmarks tab i did not see any files in it.

Opera doesn't crash. IE doesn't crash. Firefox crashes - Firefox = fail. How can you guys like firefox, its so awkward.

Firefox rarely crashes for me but when it does, I don't really mind. They make up for it with the error message explaining the crash. Something like "Well, this is embarrassing..."
:D

EDIT: I think that only happens when it struggles to reopen your tabs. Not sure- Firefox doesn't crash often enough ;)

MY firefox crashed yesterday and I am getting some apologetic message about sending something to them. Unlike Explorer, which crashes, but allows you to reopen.. this will not open at all
