What happens when you enter the wrong PIN when paying for something?

So you entered the PIN. It showed an error.... then suddenly started printing the slips?

What does the slip show? Any "verified by pin" wording? What terminal did they use?

The receipt is at home. I'll check what else it says.

Probably house limit as well. This should have been an online transaction and they should have checked the pin.

It must have gone online because within minutes it was reflecting as pending on my account.

The slip says Approved and has a whole bunch of numbers on it including ones prefaced with B: A: and P as well as UTI:

Why would that be a problem? He paid for something and money went off of his account. So, yes, he will and should be R15k lighter...
