What have I done? Multiple monitors

I’m using an HP Windows notebook with two external screens. The notebook is hidden under a desk and I use screen #1 and #2 as my monitors (HDMI and USB C)

Yesterday I was clicking quickly around the desktop and suddenly both shut off at the same time … and I haven’t been able to get them back.

Doubtful it’s a hardware thing, I think. Is there a setting up disable external monitors or something?
 
PS Windows 11 and when I remove the HDMI, it does recognise … I get a noise & the screen comes to life with ‘no signal’
 
Ok I think I changed the multiple monitor or something, I went back in and it kinda worked

So the issue could be your graphic drivers then because all Ctrl Win Shift B does is reset/refresh it (or something to that extent). Download the latest drivers and install (or roll back if latest are the issue) and / or update BIOS.

It seems to mess up this screen and I need to pull the laptop out and mess around here. It won't even autodetect the monitors.

But it's definately me - so I won't download anything extra incase I really mess things up

Well mine is currently not working because the Thunderbolt ports are screwed or something is not lekker and the drivers dont work anymore. Waiting for Dell to sort it out.

But Ctrl + Win + Shift + B and Win P , helped as a temp fixed when it got confused.

I’m just surprised you’re not blaming Apple for this latest mistake on the windows machine.
