What Herbs to farm ?

Hi again

Ok so I lvl'd Herbalism to about 230 in one day, I just sold the Herbs I was farming to lvl and made over 500g with that and Ores.

Now my question is this. I know that Mith makes a shyt load of money and it's high on demand. Now what Herbs are the same. I have notice that Purple Lotus fixes a pretty penny also and is hugely availablt in Tanaris.

I think Sungrass ?

I have no idea as I have never had Alc as a profession.

Most anything for Fel Lotuses, they fetch up to 40g a pop.
Dreaming Glory for all the mana pots users.
Terocone for , well, everything. Most good elixirs need Terocone.
Ancient Lichen for the tanks, Major Def elixirs are a must for them. You only find these in Coilfang instances though, although I've heard of rogue herbalists solo farming these instances.

SL has about 10-15 ancient lichen spawns as well. Bog Lords in Zangermarsh also yields if you herb their corpses, as do any corpse that can be herbed. Ancient lichen sells really bad on my server though. Terracone can be farmed in Terrokar Forest. Dreaming glory in Zanger. Overall I think Zanger is herbalist heaven.

Think what the people above me is trying to say is get Herbing to over 300 and get the outland herbs, they yield a lot more gold!
Dreamvoil used to be the best to farm as they are quite easy to get and used in every other potion or elixer. You need 250ish herbing for it though. I would not waste too much time with the other low level herbs, time vs gold, it aint really worth it.

Once you have capped your Herbalism, Mana Thistle, Nightmare Vine and Netherbloom are always good sellers.

Dont write of low level herbs. There is always people wanting to powerlevel alchemy. 1 Thing I did when I hit 60 (with 2 toons at exactly the same time) was gather all the herbs required to powerlevel alchemy to 350 or so. Sold it for 3k. It only cost me about 500g in the end, but people are lazy! Capitalize on it!
