Hi guys/gals,
To cut a long story short... I need to run an ethernet cable 45-65M's!
What type of cable do I need to get and where from(CT)?
Would a normal CAT5 do the trick?
Thanks

Should be fine. They say the maximum length for CAT5 is 100m.

If you can, rather get CAT5e, which supports speeds up to 1Gb/s. As for suppliers, try Scoop Distribution in Montague Gardens, or Atlantic Cabling in Picton Street, Parow.

Is this between two PCs, PC and a switch / hub, or two switches? Will need a crossover cable if it's PC to PC.

Thanks guys... its actually from one router to a hub!
Will try for a CAT5/e
thanks

Yeh, I've used 50m CAT5 cables before without a problem!
It should work fine!
Good luck!
