What is 4G? An easy explanation....

Correct, and both the article and my post about it make that clear! But that of course is the nub of the renewed dispute between Vodacom and Cell C, so expect the claims and counter-claims to be batted back and forth by their hand-rubbing lawyers....

What renewed dispute between Vodacom and Cell C? First I hear of it. And I'm pretty sure Alan as well.

Just read this and with due respect to the author, he got nearly every point he made completely wrong. He obviously have heard of terms like 3G, 4G, UMTS, LTE, MIMO, OFDM, etc. but clearly do not understand them or their relation.

See the recent thread where Knott-Craig says Vodacom cannot have it both ways in terms of defining what is and is not 4G, following the recent spat between Cell C and Vodacom about their advertising terminology. Keep up there Jannie! :-)
