What is an INTERNET TV

It has a network port. Can browse YouTube and quite a few other video sites. There's a browser but with no mouse and no keyboard its a bit of a pain to use. They also have widgets but only Facebook and Twitter but the widgets suck.
They can't play mkv but can play soccer from a media server on your network, or a usb drive of course.

I just read on:

that SKYPE can be accessed. I guess this will not be available in SA for a while though
 
GO TO WWW.GOOGLE.COM, type what is an internet tv and all will be revealed.

My understanding is it's a tv that can access the internet, so they got the name spot on.

They can play MKV, as long as the internal codec is supported (H264 etc).

Has Skype access, as well as facebook and twitter apps incorporated to TV viewing.
