ok...
i do know that when u apply for ADSL certain things limit you - and certain things make Telkom twitchy..
like...
attenuation > 60 - they don't consider your application anymore
snr < 6 - no go for a up-to-4meg profile
distance > 6km - no go
ok....NOW:
what about things like inconsistency?
How many sync drops per day is ok? I've got a line that can stay stable one day , and the next - give me 60-80 drops..
i would seriously recon that i am allowed to have a perfect stable line under normal weather conditions.....how would it be for my DSTV decoder to break up signal every now and then!?
they can't seem to find/fix the problem after trying and trying ^e !
i've played around with 512,1024,2048 profiles...NO diff... i still get unstable behavior.
isn't ADSL supposed to be an ALWAYS on connection...how much am i allowed to b**ch?
