What is datametrics?

As in a datametrics diploma?

I worked with a guy that did it via unisa years ago & afterwards he continued with a bsc comp science and he got a lot of credit for the datametrics subjects as those same subjects were in the bsc. So it sounds like a lesser qualification than a bsc.

I did a 3 year diploma in datametrics through Unisa ages ago. Consisted of 10 modules, whereas a degree was 30 modules. Modules ranged from programming, to analysis and design, and you could choose based on what you wanted to focus on.
 
Datametrics is what the average matric pass rate is used to calculate.
