Sorry for the short, silly question ... but what is the up/down speed of 192? 384? 512? 1024?

Well, supposedly it's as follows:

192/64
384/128
512/256

But I've uploaded up to 25kB/s with my 192kbps connection.

Oh .... hehe

Thought it was 192 COMBINED ... like 128/64

Well for any un-informed person who heard the 3GB is combined traffic why shouldn’t the line speed be? (Just some telkom logic) I like to say, "Common knowledge is uncommon"

I often get 384 up on my 384 connection. This is the line maximum. (640/384).

edit: but I don't seem to get more than 384 down :(

yep, im also getting 192 up speeds on my 192.
btw, under BitComet's connection settings, it says "DSL users, please limit your upload rate under your line capacity or download speed will be affected."
Does this mean that with a 192 line, you should limit your upload speeds to 8Kbps (64kbps)?

I would do that anyway! Most people overseas don't care about the monthly traffic they do, but you care, I assume, unless you are on unlimited ADSL. So it is wise to limit the upload speed to some reasonably low value so you don't waste all your expensive monthly allowance for uploads ...
