Ive been hearing about some product called Opencourier from openweb, but I cant find any details on their website.

What is it ?

looks cool!!

I applied for a trial and got it within 5 minutes!

<--- downloading

it doesnt seem like it.

but ive got opentorrent, so im going to download my torrents from that server onto this one

So you still have to pay for local bandwidth to download the data from the local server ?

So say I want 15 GIGs of International files. I pay my R399 to get them into my local "box". Then I must have at least a 30 gig account to cover the 15 GIGS local bandwidth. So it'd be like R399 + R171 to get my 15 GIGs. Is that correct?

Ijack: Is your opentorrent account working?

You seem very keen on anything to do with torrents, but by reading all the threads on myadsl, u seem to be quite the arrogant ass... And if you read the other thread that you were complaining about your opentorrent not working, maybe u will realise why it isnt...

Well i recieved an email saying from mrbeep:

Will do.

Access will be reinstated tomorrow morning, when the Engineer finishes with maintenance.

Kind Regards

So he is doing maintanece, i just want to know if anyone elses opentorrent account are working?

it is amazing what range of 199x solutions gets implemented in SA to overcome the pathetic state of the internet access in the country ...

true, always a backend way to overcome CAPS!

opencourier and opentorrent should become one. So for like R300 or R400 u can get both features in 1, not pay R400 for opentorrent and R400 for opencourier and den R180 for local cap???

then Keoma won't make as much money as he wants!

why don't you just use the local IS news server, mamacosjd?

apparently it has everything..

and what about local torrents?

I dont have opencourier, anyway i jsut want OPENTORRENT woking, but he "HAS" been doing "maintenance" on the servers since thursay, and does even tell anyone :(

Stop spamming this thread, is the threads name "mamcosjd's problem with opentorrent"?
