If anyone can help me answer a few questions regarding the signing up phase.

What is it that they check for when you sign up? I'm asking about credit wise. Do you need to be some director of a company or earning a R50K salary every month before they allow you to sign up? Or can you be an average joe who has got no bad debt? What exactly do they look for before Sentech say yes?

As I saw some post earlier saying that he has just bought a house and a new car and Sentech denied to sign him up. Are there any other little things they ask or want to know before they allow you the service? I'm not sure if that sort of stuff is allowed to be discussed on the forum.

I want to sign up, as I've recently found out that they now have partial coverage in the Hatfield area in Pretoria where I work. So I'm thinking I could just sent it up at my work PC and download like crazy at work, and take a spare hard drive along to copy whatever I've downloaded at work and then take it home. Question: Is this a good idea at all? If Sentech NEVER support the Pretoria North area, then in a sense it's pretty useless me signing a 24 month contract. Who knows how long I'll be with the company that has coverage by Sentech. Any idea from any Sentech people about Pretoria North coverage???

As unfortunately Sentech have no coverage where I live in Florana, in Pretoria North just over the mountain, which is a bit off p!ss!ng. And they have no coverage what so ever over the mountain side, but then they have coverage on the other side of the world where a friend stays on the way to Witbank. I think I've seen 1 or 2 other Pretoria North people on here.

Thanks for any help,
Lee
