What is the best programming book?

Who will want to read a book on programming? Its all over the internet...

I hear you and feel very similar about it but sometimes you don't know where to start.

I remember a log time ago, when php 4.something was still new and I was learning it, I bought 'PHP in Action' or 'PHP patterns and somethingelse'. It introduced me to Test Driven Development, frameworks, better coding practices and a couple of other things.

Until then, I'd been happily plodding along unaware of most of those things.

Sometimes just checking the index of a book can give you a pathway to follow via Google but without that index, you're basically in the middle of the ocean without a map.

TLDR: Take a photo of the index page in Wordsworth and then google the topics
