What is the difference between MS Windows SBS 2011 and MS Windows Server 2008?

It seems like Windows SBS offers more (Sharepoint and Exchang) as well as the Windows Server 2008 Standard license yet is somehow cheaper? Just looking at server quotes from HP and am wondering why? What's the catch?

SBS is also limited to one server. the advantage is that it has all the licenses for the products included in one. exchange SQL, the lot. so for a small company its a nice solution.

server standard you have to buy all the separate parts.

Only real draw back for SBS is that it has a limit of 75 users. If you are less then go SBS

SBS *must* be primary Domain Controller.
Can only be *1* SBS server on a network. But you can have as many server 2008 std servers on same network.
Limited to 75 users (although I seem to remember this has been increased to 150 for sbs 2011)
Includes Exchange (limited to a single storage group, so you can't split mailboxes into seperate storage databases)
Premium includes SQL Server
Cannot run terminal services directly on the server (can do remote desktop support but this is limited to 2 concurrent users).
Cal Licenses on SBS are more expensive as they include Exchange Cals (and SQL if premium).

For small businesses it's perfect. Purchasing Server 2008 std + exchange + sql server costs much much more than a SBS server.

However, for larger companies which need multiple servers it's better to get 2008 std.

Ta, the 75 users are the Windows users or the number of connections that the system will allow?
