Broadband technology is any high-speed internet technology that uses fiber optic cables. A device that must be plugged directly into a modem or router to use a broadband internet connection is considered a wired device. Any device that does not require a wired connection to access broadband internet access is considered wireless

Not sure I agree with that last part in regards to optic fiber unless you mean that back haul part. The rest is pretty obvious I think.

In a nutshell it would be using telkom adsl (WIRED) versus CSP's I. E. cellular service providers (WIRELESS)
