What is your reason to live?

Well seeing that I am the following

I dont have any religion.
Have never had a girlfriend in my life.
Don't have any family alive (Trust me its like in none, nada, zip)
All my friends are in other countries. Hell I even work for an international firm.

I was just wondering seeing that most people have either 1 or all 4 as their reasons to live, if you where in my shoes what would be your reason to get up in the morning?

PS: I am not suicidal. I been in this boat for well over 5 years so I am perfectly fine :)
 
Try to travel to other countries and see what's out there. The world really is a beautiful place, i've been to just under 20 countries so far and i'm not even 20 yet and almost in the same boat as you.

Also, Sport. Love it. :D

That little self-preservation instinct is my reason for living. I consider what makes it all worthwhile to be my mom and my other half and, in that regard, I suppose that yeah, they are the reason I endure whenever things get really difficult.

Odly I have been to most of asia only 2 countries on the list to scratch off is India and Japan. But with recent hapenings in Japan I think I will move that one to last :)
 
Having kids, some days they can make you suicidal, but overall they are my reason to live. I have been dealt a few bad blows in my life and thought suicide was the way out, even though in my mind I knew I never had the balls to do it, kids tend to make you appreciate life more.

thing is bro, sometimes we look at our lives and think its a mess, however there is always someone out there who is worse off. Appreciate life, before u know it, its over.

Yet to go to Asia actually. Hopefully one day to Singapore for the F1 but haven't stepped foot in Asia yet. The Continents I haven't been to are Asia and South America.. (and obviously Antarctica :D) Been to most European countries being from England myself.

Absolutely love travel though, possibly the one of the best things a person can do.

you need to get a female (or male if you are so inclined) in your life, one you dont pay

by the hour that is... :D, im curious though, why no GF ever? are you shy?

fat/ugly ? even that is no excuse.... i know some fatties with hot chicks.

Grew up on a farm with no father so never really learned how to "hook up" so to speak. Actually I am tall dark and handsome, Well tall skinny and average looking. Just to dam shy to start up a conversation, Hell I didn't even know women had "that time of the month" till I was 25.

After that just so use to hide myself in my work, this is actually the 1st time in my life, since December, I stopped to actually smell the roses so to speak.
 
My reason to live is that I am alive, an extremely and profoundly fortunate happenstance.

Is there an intrinsic reason to live that is external to me? No, I don't believe so.
 
My reason for living is because I enjoy life. I wake up in the morning and say "what a wonderful day".
My other reason is my lovely daughter. Most important though, is that I can tell as many people as I can about Jesus Christ and His love for us ('cause there's still time).
