What ISP TO Choose

Hi all

I am new in this forum and would like to get some advice on going into adsl, obviously only Telkom can supply a link, but who should I use as a isp ? Is there any one else beside Telkom, and also what happens if you get to this 3GB Cap, is your line then disconected ?

Hi Mac,

I'm with Interprise, www.interprise.co.za - no problems with them. By the by, there are plenty of ISP's out there offerring ADSL, each offerring different prices so shop around b4 signing up. I liked Interprise because their monthly charge is around R240-00 and I got a free ADSL Modem.

Inhanced Package - Only R349.00 per month (incl. VAT) + R150 set-up (modem purchase or rental available)
NEW Combo Pack (Includes FREE ADSL modem and hosting) - Only R499.00 per month (incl. VAT) + R300 set-up
NEW Top-up package - Only R280.00 per month (incl. VAT) per 3GB

As you can see, the package with the "Free" modem is R499 PM

www.megalan.co.za not sure about price, but a 56k VPN is part of the deal.

When capped:

Local traffic not effected. International traffic almost non-existent.
