Apparently it's good to have goals to work towards.

What's you list of things you HAVE to have? Real or fantasy, but something you dream about owning. Will it ever be yours? Heres my list, all attainable when I can get the money together.

SANDRA_1_small.jpg Calore wood burning heater. I went to order one a week or two back but they'd closed for the day. Since then the weather's warmed up so I'll probably wait until next year.

path.jpg this path looks dreadful and becomes a quagmire in summer. Need a brick pathway.

stairs.jpg these stairs have irritated me for years. They take up a big part of the lounge a and have to be removed and outside staircase installed something like this. outdoor._exciting_spiral_staircase_for_outdoor___modern_outdoor_outside_staircases_.jpg

FINALLY we get to the biggie. Gotta get me one of these SOON picture20131105154344_384x430q80.jpg

Let us know what you're saving up for.

love the Big green egg.. dont see those around!.

for me short term goals,
-sell my car
-build up a decent Home theater center
-HD tv , inclu mini home media server streaming everything online
-upgrade ADSL line

long term goals
-buy a house
-a proper sports car
-retire at the age of 40-45
-buy a boat ( and spend my days fishing)

and somewhere in between long and short term goals, probably get married...(no not really interested in kids)

EDIT: When I have acquired the Yeti SB5 C above, a trip to Whistler should be in order.

1) install the old Esse anthracite heater I have in the garage
2) Fix the ceiling in the lounge, it's collapsing a bit
3) Kleemann K1 kit for the SLK
4) Auto-roof mod for the SLK

Not much really.

Sure pretty much every material thing in my life could do with an upgrade but nothing really sticks out.

I'm getting the Trance 2 + dropper, hopefully this week. Would have preferred an SX :D
I've changed my mind several times this weekend. It's the 2 vs Sx.

Obviously saving 12k would be nice but I feel like I'd want to upgrade so much on the 2. The sx is ready to rock out of the box. I like riding the DH tracks so I need the beefier components.

@Ocali, that's young to retire. Won't fishing bore you after a while?

hahah funny you should mention that, i now recall seeing a t-shirt once with "Born to fish, Forced to work" printed on it. i enjoy the water, maybe just a cruise around with the boat..

iv still got about 20years to totally settle on that retirement age, so lets see, iv always wanted to open a restaurant, maybe il turn the boat into a Exclusive Dining experience, ...possibilities are endless...

They are indeed, even taking people out on day trips could work. Combining fishing with a good meal on the boat.
