What kinda speed can I expect?

According to the coverage map where I live there is only very fair coverage but 4 streets away there is good coverage so if I get iBurst what speeds can I expect?

As been said before, get someone to come and test at YOUR place. Forget the coverage map.

But besides from the map not always being that accurate, fair and being close to good coverage should get you pretty decent signal, if you need it an antenna should boost you to a good signal, so you should get acceptable speeds.

The coverage map sucks. I'm in green and has a 91 signal.

I'm in the second last light green area and have a stable 98% connection with about 4% frame error. Do have a bit of LOS though.

I'm also in a light green area and have almost 100% signal. My speeds are the same as I had on the sentech 256k package, according to the speedtests I ran. 32KB's. I'm hoping to get better speeds once we get a new router that I can set to the right mtu.

jhbgirl: you can set the mtu correctly using drtcp. you dont need a router to do that.

I think her problem is that she needs the router, and once you have iBurst on the router you cant set the MTU with Dr.TCP so your router has to be able to set it for you.
