What lats are you getting?

ADSL 512 - unshaped.

I have weird latency though. It starts at 300 odd then goes up to as high 900 and then back to 300 but it's not like a spike. More like a slow gradual build up of my ping. This happens almost daily and keeps on rotating between 300-900 throughout the night.

How would u guys troubleshoot this?

I'm on Twilight's Hammer too.

it could be instability with your line, unstable DS/US margins. To much noise on the line or quite a distance from the exchange.

sheez man. 4mb, 384kb, 512kb!!! You guys are still being ripped off by telkom. What are you paying for this? How they cant offer 8mb lines, i dont know. 384kb !!! ouch.

Im paying £35(whats that now? R500??) for Sky and 8mb broadband. The broadband is a £5 addon to £30 tv package, that means im paying R80 for 8mb broadband.

While not the best latency(average around 130 to 150), its reliable and uncomplicated. And dirt cheap.

On MTN HSDPA I'm getting between 550 and 1000 on a normal day. Spikes up to 1200 are not uncommon and massive latency is a semi-regular occurance.

I need a real connection...

Playing on Draenor EU

Sounds like the people in the UK are also being ripped off ;)
I have ADSL in my flat in Germany, paying 35Euro per month for a 32MB line, 45ms ping to WoW server ;) Considering to set up my own tunneling service, but don't really want to run my PC there for 4 months at a time while I am not there.

wow I havent seen so much fail in one post for a long time, I dont think even boomroker can post something as utterly retarded as the above.

your opinions/latencies/superior broadband carry absolutely zero weight in this thread, because you are in europe.

Also it seems like you aren't aware of the fact that everybody that reads the myadsl forums knows very well that fast internet connections are dirt cheap in first world countries.
