What Modem to buy

My brother has a Netgear n750 that he bought almost 2 years ago for about r2500 and it broke..what would u advice for a decent modem with great wifi..in that price range..looking for quality,not something that will just do the job

Gaming,streaming over wd live and browsing the net.

The belkin routers are good but i have also heard that the new asus routers are good for gaming.

Gaming,internet,streaming with wd live..all connected with lan..wifi is just for phones..netgear used to have internet drops..read it was a fault with these devices

In the notes: "Please note: This product is a network router only - and not an ADSL modem/modem router. Should you require ADSL connectivity it will need to be used in conjunction with an ADSL modem."

But in the specs section: "WAN Connection Type - Internet connection type : Automatic IP, Static IP, PPPoE(MPPE supported), PPTP, L2TP"

So ja nee, I dunno, not an expert either hahaha, just noticed that disclaimer so I thought I'd share in case you went and spent 2.1k (if it's true) and ended up with a 'brick'.
