AAASUS - :) all the way

It depends on what you want to do? Surf? Gaming?

Gaming, internet, streaming with wd live..all connected with lan..wifi is just for phones..netgear used to have internet drops..read it was a fault with these devices

Looking at this one ASUS RT-N66U Dark Knight anyone using this one ..

This one?: http://www.wootware.co.za/asus-rt-n66u-dark-knight-dual-band-wireless-n-450mbps-gigabit-router.html

In the notes: "Please note: This product is a network router only - and not an ADSL modem/modem router. Should you require ADSL connectivity it will need to be used in conjunction with an ADSL modem."

But in the specs section: "WAN Connection Type - Internet connection type : Automatic IP, Static IP, PPPoE(MPPE supported), PPTP, L2TP"

So ja nee, I dunno, not an expert either hahaha, just noticed that disclaimer so I thought I'd share in case you went and spent 2.1k (if it's true) and ended up with a 'brick'.
