What monetary value is this pc.

the ram i can add another 8gig, there is spare ram here.So 5000 rand will this be easy to sell you think or is it a waiting game.
pro-tip: don't spend money on an old computer you are trying to sell.
You are approaching it as, well I have this thing that is worth something I spent a bunch on, maybe I can get more if I spend more.
But it is the classic sunken cost fallacy.
You are sinking money into something that has very little value.

Some of the estimates here are based on finding the right buyer.
Selling 2nd hand at "retail"/"high" prices means waiting a long time to sell it.
And that thing is losing value by the minute.

So it has very little value, can this value reach 5000 if i add in a mechanical keyboard and mouse and 22 inch samsung hd monitor.these things is just standing .

Maybe, to the right buyer. But my point was more not to buy more stuff. It never works out in my experience.

sorry i never bought anything, these are spares lying around,i took out ram a year ago and never put it back in swopped with a 4gig,i can put the 8 gig back in.actually i am actually gonna do that now then its 16gig again

My Android lacked a lot more…
Mobicel? Huawei? Samsung? Oppo?

Android is not a phone, and it is far from perfect, all the way from the top of the shiny UIs they slap on it, down to the low-level stuff you might fight with trying to run it on embedded devices.

The big problem with apple has always been the assholes running the company and the blindness of their users.

"It just works" - sums up the problem perfectly. Yeah pal, it just works for you. But at what cost?
Are you even aware of the absolute pure evil bullshit they are up to trying to dodge the EU regulation?

No. Ofcoruse not. F...k the developers, f...k everyone, I like apple and apple likes me.

I see now it doesn't even have hyperthreading.
Nope, it was from the time Intel was resting on it's Laurels, literally the same time this was released AMD changed the game with Ryzen coming out. The Ryzen 3 1200 was cheaper and performed better.

Curiously that's disappearing from their new chips
Well it was really around for when we had 8 cores and 8 virtual, but now that cpus are getting 16 actual cores, do we really need 16 virtual?

Your biggest problem is what many have mentioned. You need to find the right buyer. 99% of the time people will just ask to split and a price on the old GFX card as the rest of the pc is pretty useless for gaming standards nowadays.

You are better off selling the gfx separately and then slap the remaining parts together and sell it off as a cheap office pc. ( again, need to find the right buyers for that too )
The card will go quick on carb but only if you dont try to milk the price, the rest not so much

edit: failing carb, you can try the dangerous waters of tandvleisboom :P

So basically from all the post here the pc is actually not really worth much.It was not intended for games but its capable running high end games.I tested cyberpunk and it ran decent on high settings,The grx card was expensive,i cant believe the vlaue dropped so much, its shocking.
Gonna check carbonite and see how much i can get it sold.

You really should put it on a Crazy Wednesday auction then. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Really expensive for 2017, strangely enough if you'd sold it in 2020 or 2021 you could have gotten 7k easily.
I bought a RX580 in 2019 for R1400 and sold it in 2020 for R2800. Bought a 1660ti for R5000 and sold it in 2021 for R4500

where bid or buy
Yup - while not 100% accurate I still think it is as accurate a reflection of the market value of something.

Plus you won't have someone coming back months after the sale being all like "rah rah rah I am too dumb to get the network port working rah rah rah I'll sign you up for spam calls rah rah...."

so a gtx 1070/80ti 8gig card can go for how much now in 2024
