Hi,

im looking for a good Project Management System with a friendly user interface. Not web based.

It should be able to save contacts and assign tasks to certain employees. It should also be able to record comments when entered.

Can anybody recommend me anything. Size of company - small - 8 employees

Thanks
;)

If you looking for something free, I am not sure, But Microsoft project is your best bet.

Easy and simple to use. You could probably pick up a tutorial online that will teach you how to use it in no time.

I have downloaded the trial. I cant seem to find where to enter/add contact details of customers. Does project support that, or do I need a access db with all the contacts?

Here is a opensource alternative

I have registered now with 3 different emails. I'm just not getting activation email

But thanks for the tips, if you have more, please throw them at me. ;)

Also registered a little while back with openworkbench. Used gmail, 3 different addys in the end. No activation email, also no response from them when I emailed them :(. Used my mweb email and got the activation. Don't like it, went for MS Project thru their HomeUse program for R166. Even I can use it :D

I have downloaded opengoo, and all I can say, it rocks.
Its a open source web pms software. Only this morning it has crossed my mind that I can use a web software as well. All i did was installing Xammp, downloaded opengoo, installed both on ther server, and wola, it works. Now everyone in the office can use it.

Its very userfriendly
It looks good
Its light
And its free
