What projector cable?

I'm planning a ceiling-mount projector on the concrete stoep roof, with pull-down screen some 4m away. The main use of the projector will be for ornery TV/sports, but I also want to use it for PC media centre movies and even PC data. Distance from ceiling mount point to PC/decoders is approx 15m. What video cable should I install from the PC and decoders to the projector? Audio of course goes separately to amp & speakers - it's only the video signal that I need to get to the projector. Most of the run is in a regular electrical conduit in concrete slab, so we are restricted. I'm open to any suggestions, including even 2 x Cat6 or whatever's most flexible. Any advice and comments most appreciated!

My advice would be to get a TV card for your PC and turn it into a proper media center. Decoder goes straight to HTPC and then you only have to run a single DVI or VGA cable (whichever your pj supports) to said projector. 15m length is no problem, and neither would flexibility be since it's only the single cable.

Thanks, zeb. Do you know where I can get a 15m VGA or DVI cable?

Actually, what I'm using is 2 x CAT6 cable runs for DVI, so no need to reply. Thanks.

Long length video cable from Ellies is delivering good value for money esp. for HDMI.
What output do you have from the AMP and PC and inputs on the projector?

Will be using VGA and composite extenders over Cat6, from Linkqage. Great service from that company!
