I am looking to somehow implement a selection funnel on our woocommerce website that have a very large selection of products to cut down on the confusion factor.

https://alldayvapes.co.za

I need something that will filter various attributes and present the customer with the most relevant products, something like this at zamplebox

Can anyone suggest how this is done - is it a seperate script/app that runs on the site, a plugin?

Where do I go from here?

js

not sure if custom or some out the box stuff i didnt look too hard

imo ditch woocommerce and go for a better platform :p

Are there any developers here on MBB that can design & implement such a funneling/selection/filter script?

Woo is functioning ok after many tweaks, though it can be frustrating with some seemingly obvious core functionality not built into it, and some very dicey plugins to sift through. Once all that is more or less settled it seems very stable, which is important.

Why would you ditch it and what would you suggest to replace it?

I havent used it in a while, but when i did this sort of thing my latest go to was https://magento.com/

Good luck finding anyone who knows what they are doing that really would want to work on magento :)

woocommerce is absolutely fine for your needs. You don’t change/ditch technology for the sake of it

That Zamplebox link is a totally custom app unfortunately.
I don't believe there's anything wrong with Woocommerce. Maybe something like this plugin will work for you. It looks pretty good. It looks like you can walk the user through selection steps and describe each one in detail.

That looks pretty interesting, I will have a good look at it. Thanks a span.

Looks like a custom app built on top of Angular JS.
It's basically just a search feature that most likely filters on tags.

A simple solution would be to add tags to your products and then create similar boxes with static searches bases on those tags.
