So I got myself uncapped internet. It was activated 30/4 but I'm billed from the 25/4. Here's the logic behind it:

The reason I activated it on the 25th was just to save you some money, they only billed you pro rata and 1 month in advance.
If I had activated the account on the 30 you would of been billed R404 instead of R238.80,as you would of been billed R205 which is pro rata + R199 for the month in advance but you were only billed R29.33 pro rata + R199 for one month in advance which brings the bill to R238.80 instead of R404 which saves you about R165.

It doesn't make sense?

You have been billed from the 25th to the 30th, instead of from the 30th to the 30th of the next month.

You usually pay for a month in advance when you sign up. Like for instance when I signed up with mweb mid month, I got billed from mid month to month end, which was R 105 or something. Then R 219 for the next month.

Mwebguy saved you some money. :p thank him for that. ;)

+1

It's not really saving money though, just a much smaller initial debit order going off of your account.

True...but saves him money from a bigger debit order at startup at least? :p Us poor people have tight budgets. :o
