What series would you recommend?

Currently we watch:

Revenge ( top of my list)
Nikita ( also very good)
Csi Las vegas ( good, but not something that hook me)
Ncis ( also good, but same as all the csi's)
Arrow ( not that good, I lost interest)

What else, more or less in the same league, would you recommend? We also loved 24, alias, prison break, but all has been cancelled. I'm not in to weird series.

Ideas?

Game of Thrones
 
Yep for Game of Thrones, yep for The Walking Dead, yep for Shameless... then add Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy, Dexter, oh and Bates Motel as well as Hannibal looking good so far.

The Following has turned out to be the biggest heap of rubbish I've come across in a long time. Awful acting. Zero believable character development. Zero chemistry between any characters and/or actors. A story-line that has flat-lined since the second episode. A dragged-out script with repetition of each week's events in the next. Did I mention the poor acting?

When I look at your list in the OP, nearly all of those shows tick the same terrible boxes as those I just mentioned, so you might actually enjoy The Following...
 
and those series have probably got the worst actors I have ever seen, its not like I can take the series seriesly when watch them :p
 
NCIS is aimed at the mentally deficient and very young kids, of that I'm sure.
CSI is the most poorly scripted show I have ever come across, with some of the most ludicrous plots to come out of the dreams of an acid-trip. Luckily there's only ever about 10 minutes of actual dialogue. The rest is cheesy music and camera angles of them performing some or other miracle of science.
Nikita is absolutely aimed at kids on their cellphone while on the couch.

I haven't bothered with Arrow or Revenge as they both sound equally terrible...

Jip read the concept of the series, and thought this might be good, downloaded the 1st ep and was like eeeyeahhnoooo

Going through a few posts today in a few threads and coming across DJ's post every now and then, made me realise, you must be the most impatient intolerent person in real life :p
