What should I do?

Hi guys,

I recently got upgraded to a 4mbps line, but now the problem is that I checked my ADSL line stats, and they make me cry. Now who should I phone and what should I ask them, I've already asked for a technician but then they said the problem was rectified when it wasn't, please help
BTW, I live in Senderwood and I asked the operator and she said I was about 2.5km away from the exchange point.

Your attenuation is waaaaay to high. Afaik, your attenuation tells you how far away you are from the exchange. Mine is currently on 54 and i cannot get higher than 1mbit.

Your noise margin is also far too low. There could be a fault on your line that is causing a problem.

No, there is nothing that you can do. If you want better speeds you may have to move closer to the exchange.

If the above is indeed true then you have a problem with your line contrary to some other comments here. There could be several issues causing this.
