What should I earn?

It seemed like a good idea at the time :P
On the bright side, it made the decision to quit and start doing WP7 stuff for myself really easy, because I was used to a min salary :)

I did, I now do WP7 dev for myself. Leaving was my best decision EVER.

For contract work I usually quote around $50 /hour. It should be higher, but I am focusing on getting my portfolio of apps bigger before making crazy moola.

For some reason I'm drawing a blank on the name... they have a cool interactive site where you can view the results. Anybody know what I'm talking about?

I was just pulling that "pics or it not true" card on you.

But yah. That is ridiculously too little. I know a few people that pull 5 times that can't even declare a string variable to save their lives. I think it has to do with how you market yourself, where you are, and lots of luck.
How are you supposed to be motivated if you are earning that much with 5 years experience.
