What should you upgrade 1st?!

Hi all

posting this for a friend as i am not sure as well!

i recently upgraded my system to the i5 3570k

But kept my old graphics card-Nvidia Gts250(still need to replace this when money comes in again)

Buddy of mine has some upgrade cash to and asked me what to upgrade 1st?i Told him that i upgraded my Mboard and CPU 1st
But he feels he needs to replace his graphics card 1st..?i don't know why but it kinda makes more sense to do this if you have a core 2 quad(q8400) and 8GB DDR3 Kingston Blu

Then end of the year upgrade the CPU and Mboard

So what is your take on this guys?

It depends on the game(s) he is playing and what graphics card he currently has.

IMO the C2Q should suffice.

Graphics now, upgrade to Intel's Haswell later this year once the stock is flowing in nicely.

Well we both are into battlefield and world of warcraft type of games..

Yeah was thinking the same thing,cause of the raw GHZ it still has..

He has the same graphics card as i do..My budget will be around R1500 for a new card..what is a possible replacement to the gts250
