What speeds?

WHat speeds are you guys getting?I've done a 1M test just now and am getting this :

Why does Sentech NOT say anything about the speeds they're offering on the different packages?

I am in Durban. Over the past 2 weeks my speeds have varied between 300kb/s to the full 1000kb/s. I usually get between 300kb/s and 400kb/s...

I don't know. From what I have read wireless Internet connectivity is far more unreliable than fixed line options. I guess it depends on the signal you get, how many people are using the same tower as you and maybe even the weather? I guess if you want the low latencies and the max line speed for more of the time that you are connected ADSL seems to be the way to go...

Your connection speed will vary wildly dependant on your signal strength and also the return path signal strength (from modem to tower)

In, if you had below average connectivity before the 1 meg upgrade you'll still have below average connectivity.

Also remember that anyone still on classic packages still get rate limited to their old capacity

you are getting 255Kbps - minimum should be 256kbps for local sites!!
