The old Xoom is supposedly getting ICS, so would still be a good choice.
8" screen is too small for me, will stick to 10" - I am in no hurry to upgrade, my old Xoom is just getting better and better as the software improves.
For example, just installed MX Video Player, provides a considerable improvement in video performance.
