What the hell is going on Iburst?

When I check iburst's site for problems (incident report) they say that nothing is wrong...

For the past week and a half I have been getting slow as hell internet access from Iburst. My sites take longer to load, I could not download the WOW patch cause the download kept timing out (had do go over to a friends house to get the patch) and now I can't even log into wow for more than 10 seconds. What the hell?!

I am currently throttled but I've been getting this while I still had cap so it's not that... What the heck is wrong and when are they going to fix it. I pay for my iburst service and my wow timecards so now I am loosing out on 2 sides.

As iburst's service is going at the moment it isn't a matter of how if iburst will remain a isp but how long it takes for them to loose all their customers. I'm cancelling my contract in this week. I'd rather struggle with dialup than stay here :mad:
 
Had the same problem, they will just end up blaming your pc, viruses, signal or an upstream provider. Get Adsl if you can i just moved over and i can tell you i dont understand why i did not do it 3 years ago
 
Thats the thing. I want to move over to adsl uncapped but now, just as I want to get it, they decide to raise the prices with R200. That just really sucks :cry:

And they can't say that it's a virus or something cause the same thing is happening to my friend who lives in a different area. He even went as far as to format his pc just to show that it's not a virus. This problem started at the same time for both of us....

I've also now seen that one of my applications can't even connect to the internet. WowMatrix (tool to update WOW mods) just keeps trying to connect and doesn't get a connection after about a minute of searing... really depressing
 
It's been really slow for me lately too, in the Durban area. I've seen a number of complaints along these lines from all over the country, so it certainly seems like there's an infrastructure problem on their side somewhere.
 
Peek download speed with cap is like 30kbs . . 30kbs!! are you kidding me!! I have to w8 till 00:00 at night to get even 60kbs.

Iburst cant even be called a ISP anymore, because all they are providing us is a headache, waisted time and money.

I would be surprised if iburst is even in business at the end of this year. Someone should just give then that final push out of here.:twisted:
