What the hell is going with Steam!

What's been going with steam, I signed up a week ago, and I've had nothing but problems, Achievements don't work, and when I want to search for a friend, I either get no results (I know the names are correct) or I get funny errors.





Anyone else having issues?

My steam works perfectly. Only problems I've ever had, were when I forgot to add their servers to Peerblock.

Steam has been having a few hiccups when their sales switch over. Generally between 7.30 and 9 at night, steam basically becomes unusable.

Otherwise, you might want to try a re-install.

I bloody hate that the games just update themselves, even if I select the "do not automatically update this game" option

Yes, but if you're capped it can hurt a wee bit if a few updates come through.

I am trying to play MW3 and it says "in order to play online you have to be logged into steam in online mode"

Well I still can not play Borderlands All I am getting is

Steam Error: The game is currently unavailable Please try again at another time.

This has been the case for 3 days now. Other games I bought during the same time seems to be working fine.

Do you realise how many D3xs there are? ****loads! In Germany and Poland and who know where else.
