ok got a gpu with a box i bought ... its a Sapphire ATI X850 256Mb
it has two little white boxes sort of things on the back end of the card instead of the normal vga or hdmi that im used to ... what the hell are those and how do i use it to connect my tv to it using a vga cable ?

or do i need to get a convertor or something, the mobo graphics are fine but i cant adjust the resoltion to fit properly, using win 7 on a old pc that i'm doing up to use as a media pc

Beware of running 1080p resolution or videos on that card. Back then the RAMDACs were only designed to handle resolutions up to 1280 x 1024 and there may be some artifacting and the occasional crash should you force it to 1080p. The drivers will also be severely outdated and may not support certain features in video software available today.

In addition, older cards like that didn't have overscan technology built in, which is what's required to make 1080p work on some TVs. You might not get the resolution completely right and will have to stick to 1024 x 768.
