So I upgrade to the 2mb Business uncapped package

I test it out during the day, no buffering issues whatsoever when it comes to Netflix, YouTube etc

I figured "HAHA! I'm going to get my account throttled! THEN WE WILL SEE!!!"

So I download over 60 gb in the last 3 days, 24/7

What do I get slapped with in the face after working so hard to be "affected"??

"Great Experience"

WTF!!!

What do I have to do to get "Harsh"??? I want to test this and I can't because apparently I can't download enough during the day?

Nice to see uncapped user have nice streaming on 2mbps but my 10mbps capped account suffers -.-
 
Weekend Shaping is definitely better. I have an account that was "Affected" on Friday, then did 23MB between Friday Night and Monday morning all whilst on "Great Experience", and now I'm "Affected" again.

Most probably Afrihost. On my 2mbps Web Africa (business or home) account I get 480p streaming like a champ without buffering. Twitch, Netflix, YouTube even pornhub and redtube :D

I'm back to "affected" trying to find new stuff to download but my hard drive space is cramped at the moment. Still don't feel a slow down though, so working hard to become severely affected to see what kind of affect that will have.

FYI, I'm not downloading torrents. http/ftp all the way

I'd be interested to see how things are going after at least a month of usage..
 
whats the threshold on a business account, lets say a 10mb business account, like if i download 600gb in a month, would i be shaped at all?

Rolling threshold is 10days.

If you do at least half of it after midnight nope.
 
im also very happy with streaming from wa

downgraded to 10mb home from next month

i dont use enoth for business to be a must

also saving of 400 will be nice :)

dude anything I can. currently testing where this 10 day rolling threshold would be and how much the "during the day" would be when/if I reach "extremely affected"

So far I'm only "affected" with about 70gb downloaded 24/7

People bitched about streaming during business hours on the home account, and I tested that streaming Netflix/Twitch isn't perfect and buffers, the home account is perfect if you get home at 6 and watch tv till 11/12 and download after that. Currently have so much TV downloaded that I won't need to stream netflix for a while. But anyway, trying to nail the business account.

I took off last week thursday and tomorrow so I can test this during the day not at work. They say i'm 10% slower on my line but I can't feel it at all, thats why I'm aiming for "extreme" (the red one) that should shrink my line speed down very nicely.

If you're not with WA I suggest following the link in my sig and signing up for a free account. End of October I'm going to switch packages again and go capped and test that too
