Today is the last day of the month. Can anyone tell me what time capped bandwidth is restored?

I'm busy downloading America's Army from a local server, but don't want this to accidentally eat into my 3GB for May.

Thanks!

How often does the ISP check the amount of data sent/received in order to calculate the CAP? E.g. if it is only checked once a day (with the automatic logoff), it should be possible to pass the 3Gb limit on that partcular day?

Well, My account had 2,9334 Gig on it on the afternoon of the 28th. I reconnected and started downloading. I downloaded non stop for 24 hours, reconnected (was stull uncapped because telkom takes a while to update the status) and continued downloading. I was only capped on the afternoon of the 30th.

Basically you can 48h of full international bandwidth if you do it right. But when you want to download to as close as 12:00 (0:00) just disconnect 15 minutes beforehand to make sure your day's downloading doesnt get logged on the 1st of the next month.

Here is a piece from my ussage page:
27 43.159 MB 3.4032 MB
28 2.0270 GB 1.8247 GB

Total bandwidth used : 6.8438 GB for the month

The stats for the 29th has not yet been updated when I posted this.

do all ISP's reset the caps on at 12:00am on the last day of the month?coz i just checked my usage and it says that iv'e already used 3gb of my cap, which is impossible.

Well beeti, what could have happend to you is that you downloaded on the 30th more than 3 gb, and then your 24h reset was on the 1st.

Thing is there is no way I downloaded that much on the 30th,and i disconnected my connection at 11:40pm last night and re-connected at 12:15am this morning so that it wouldnt run into my May cap. In the cap window it doesnt mention the date next to the 3gb amount but it still says it under the May screen.Could there be a mistake there?

Yes, exept if someone else was using your account, and downloaded that much on the 30th.

Actually, if you run into a new month while transferring, the amount you transferred after midnight is still allocated to the old month's usage. I've tested this twice now (once by accident, the other on purpose). Your usage gets reset to 0 at midnight, but after you disconnect (at about noon on the 1st in my case) your usage is still 0 for the new month.

Disclaimer: That's how it worked for me for the past 2 months, but I'm not making any promises here! :)
