What to do when driving in strong winds

Te solution is rather simple - DON'T DRIVE IN STRONG WINDS. Check the weather before you depart.

You say the obligatory “did you feel that?” and carry on.

Especially if you are towing a caravan/trailer/horsebox.

But if you're stupid enough to want to transport 7 x 5KL Jojo tanks on an open trailer in anything more than a light breeze, then you deserve to die! It actually happened (1 on bakkie & 6 on extra-long trailer) and got blown over, blocking the whole road (Cape Road).

So article doesn't actually say what you should do.

I would start by slowing down, then stopping.

I don't why there is article on this, everyone knows that when winds get up you just drive faster to create more downforce, because racecar

Drive with the wind.
You go faster, use less fuel.
