I have a first generation fat white Xbox 360 that has been repaired 3 times now ( No reballing ).

It kept on dying and thus I bought a slim.

What can I do with the old console? Dump it? Donate it? Sell for parts?

I know it's not worth much at all, but it has the external wifi connector.
Oh yes and on a separate note , how can I erase the HDD of the original ( 20GB )?

You can sell the drive off to somebody with an Arcade. Contents can be erased from the system settings.

Also, depending on the disc drive, you could sell that to people in the mod scene.

HAH! Indeed.

A thought just popped up, I might build my Raspberry PI ( When it actually gets delivered ), into it!

Will be enough space to house an internal hdd. A bit big for a media centre, but why not!

Thanks for the suggestion!

If the contents is wiped, will it also clear my credit card details from the system, and live ID etc.?

Wait for one of those specials that IC do where you trade in your old console for something new.

How broken is this box?
If it switches on and still works then why don't you Use it as a media extender.

I would use it as a base for some modding project and rip the guts out.

I saw online somewhere a guy turned his into a little fish tank. Might have been on hacknmod.com
