I've got a rush of **** to the brain and thought I'd buy something, when someone came along and pointed out a few things about debt or circumstances - which stopped me.

Yea - I still get that same rush to get something stupid, but maybe Gomario was just trying to remind you of reality. Yea - he doesn't know you or your individual circumstances, but it was just a suggestion and you could have shrugged it off.

If there is one thing I can't stand is people telling me what I can do even thought they know NOTHING.

I requested the thread to be deleted. Thanks for the answers, I am totally put of though. I am old enough to know what I'm doing, thank you. I will rather post on overseas forums where people can handle it and actually enjoy talking about cars other than citi golfs.

Nah, we didn't attack you over financial issues ;)

We attacked you because your Alfa 147 with 19" rims and exhaust can do 0-100km/h in 7 seconds flat - 35% quicker than manufacturer claims :)

A true love of cars would be being able to bow down when something quicker comes along and admit defeat. I often argue and fight with JK8 is his GTI - and the fact that I feel it's not as quick as he says ;)

BUT I conceded he's be able to keep ahead of me at the reed - as much as I hate admitting it
