So I have been paying R497 for your OpenServe (long-time 25d/10u but then you forced a higher speed & higher payment on me, but never mind).
Invoices have always showed:
- 25Mbps Openserve Pure Fibre
- 25Mbps Pure Uncapped Fibre
- 25Mbps/10Mbps Openserve Fibre
I was then apparently automatically "upgraded"/migrated to 40d/20u then & at the time when you had the 40d/40u "promo" which would revert to the associated, even higher price after - which I declined & just wanted my 40/20 back. However, I have been noticing slow speeds for some time & that I wasn't even getting anywhere near 40d/20u so I queried this & also asked why I was paying R497 for my package when it appears to be R472 on your website. Your agent Charles M and Ryton N handled the WA calls. (A record of the entire conversation is available)

They discovered there was somehow a mismatch in your Control Panel & what I was getting (as apparently my request at the time was never processed) & after they fiddled with it on their side it suddenly showed only 25/10 on the CP (snapshot available), so I was advised to choose another package from my side to correct it, i.e. the 40d/20u

Lo & behold my surprise then when I suddenly now get billed & debited an additional amount of R100 + a R50 "admin" charge (as I didn't have sufficient funds to cover this unexpected extra charge) for YOUR FU!

So answer me this: is my R497 that I have always been paying now suddenly a minimum of R547+ (& despite your automatic "upgrades/migrates" that YOU foisted on me?

And ok, the lower price stated for 40/20 is yet another "promo". Fine. So new customers can enjoy 6 months at a reduced price while long-time customers just have to suck it up & keep paying more. (PS: I've been with AH for 14 years, 5 years on your OpenServe package)

Hi.
Nov. 2022 we ran an Openserve Promo. It was for 25 and 50 Mbps clients only. This was an opt in promo, where clients can claim the promo via an upgrade link which was included in the mail. It was to end in Jan 2023 and clients had to choose if they remain on the faster line speed and start paying the full price from 01 Feb 2023, or they can opt-out and move back to their original line speed.

Jan 2023, the promo was extended because Openserve had informed us In December that they would be applying automatic upgrades to all clients who qualify for the promo and did NOT opt-in via the mail. Openserve had now extended the promotion to run until 23 February 2023

Openserve End of Promo and Price Changes. 22nd of Feb 2023
We automatically downgraded the clients to their original packages. Openserve then announced speed and price changes. The price was effective as off the 1st of April 2023 aPrice increase.png

The clients were notified.

This is definitely a promotion for new sign up clients and it was launched in August.
Please drop me a Pm with your number that was used for the WhatsApp chat so I can have a look at those and your email address.
