Hey guys.

So we have a few computers in the office the PSU is 300 - 400watt.

The pc's are not high end power hogging system either.

So I want to order a few UPS's but I have no idea what would be sufficient to give enough time to shut down the computer.

I was thinking of APC 500VA ?

No no no, each PC will have his own UPS.

1 Setup(pc)

Is midi tower
Dual core / i3
4gb ram
Onboard graphics
1 Sata harddrive
350watt psu

19" screen LCD

4 PC's

Power them all did pass my mind, but we have about 19 PC's running in the office each with their own UPS to save on labour to rewire the whole office.

With the route you want use, it may work out just as expensive IF you plan on having more than 10-15min run time after the power outage.

I would base the runtime on the critical apps that you need up and running. I use a few 1200VA / 1kW unit with an extended run battery (equipment not made by APC) however this powers up to 5 Microservers per UPS.... You can get larger capacity by adding more batteries and / or UPS units.
