Maybe also tell us about your current most prized epic.

Mine :
PVP raptor and my pvp reward High warlords blade.
My only two epic items LOL.



Need one piece of my kara key then hopefully i can get some phat purples.
Any specific paladin drops in kara that is nice that i should keep my eyes open for?
Do the kara mobs drop badge of justice? (those medal thingies that you can trade for epic items in shatterath) and if they do , are those medals scarce or how many drops in a run on average?

my very very 1st epic was PvP Raptor wich i got before i even had the riding skill for it(on my hunter).

months later i rolled BE pala when tbc came out and on him my 1st epic was T4 gloves from Curator

Kara doesnt drop those hero tokens

atm with ur pala, beggers cant be choosers, so if u can get Cloth/Leather /Mail healing gear get it, it will prolly be better than the blues you have, thats how i started, i still have other items on me which arn't plate but yeah its good fun :D

If i had 3k , id try get blinkstrike .

I have a question about blink strike`s proc.
If blinkstrike procs it grants exstra attack

Now if you proc reckoning with a paladin you do the same.
Wonder what it would be like having all attacks procs at the same time.
Will the extra attacks stack onto each other?

Anyone ever see a paladin with blinkstrike?
I tried searching on the proc + reckoning = ? but havent found a mention of this anywhere. Looks like paladins dont normally get this weapon.
 
My first epic back in pre-tbc days was... ZG bracers... man those were awesome :)

My most prized epic is... my netherdrake ... took me forever to grind (i slack alot)

Dusk, personally, I haven't seen a pally with a Blinkstrike... second option to test would be... get a Thrash Blade from that Mara quest and try stack reckoning.

No Kara bosses do not currently drop Badge of Justice, however they will drop from all Kara bosses after the zul'aman patch.

They are 100% chance to drop from all heroic bosses/named NPC's.

For example Shattered halls heroic will yield 5 badge's if completed in the 45 minute window. 3 from bosses and 2 from the named mini bosses forming the old TK attunement.

Most people farm Mech for badges since its 3 bosses and 2 gatekeepers providing you with 5 badges per run.

First epic, hmm if I remember correctly Felheart Gloves for my lock

Most prized Epic, hard to say, there are so many that I love but right now I am loving World Breaker, I still use Gorehowl a lot though. Such awesome toys

guys this was back in the day, like pre TBC even before ZG was released, And epics cost and arm and a leg.

200 gold will be the asking price now, remember how easy it is to get epics nowadays,This bow was a hot seller back in the day before Silithus was even thought of!!

WoW now that is a timeless item that I will never have but sure as hell like.

Received by all who ring the Scarab Gong within 10 hours of the first person to ring it. After that, this mount is unattainable.

This mount functions as a normal mount outside of AQ40, but is limited inside AQ40 and desummons when you take any damage, or are put in to combat, just like the ones that drop off of the trash in AQ40.

One question...
When they open a new realm , are the AQ gates open already or do the people on the realm have to get the scepter to open them ?

strongly doubt that, Its a world event, it means that everyone has to take part in opening the gates,Even if blizz open a new realm they will leave those kind quests/world events to the people to take care of,besides who goes to AQ???.....Blizz have destroyed those once famous and powerful raid instances!!
 
Well if the gates arent open already on a new realm , I might just oneday decide to transfer to one just to get that mount you can only get within 10 hours of the opening.
I think that the bragging rights and 1000s of noobs in oggri hording around you and watching it is more than worth it :P
Anyway , it kinda looks like the closest thing to a superbike in wow :P

Dusk I would not recommend Blinkstrike for a pally. I'm not sure what your build and plan for your pala is, but I will assume its prot / tanking if you are going for reckoning. In that case ... no in any case you are better off with a + spell damage weapon. Pala's white mellee damage is just not enough to warrent wanting that sword.

There are some nice pala plate drops in Kara, and I reall would not recommend getting cloth, leather or mail items, but then I guess it is a personal preferance. I just think it defeats the whole purpose of pala healing then, if you have great healing, but no armor.

Back on topic... my first epic was a random world drop pair of gloves around lvl 36-38. Which was lovely as it was just in time for me to sell to by my hunter's mount. At least my pala already had his free one.

The first epic that I actually used, was either Earthshaker (http://thottbot.com/i17073) or my Lawbringer boots(http://thottbot.com/i16859), ah back in the old MC days. I still have most of my pally's tier 1 and tier 2 set, can't bring myself to sell it.
 
yes, you can transfer with the scepter and open the gates.. new realms usually only allow for PCT 6 months after opening tho
