Depending on your overheads & level of debt a 40% salary jump should be "life changing".

Changed jobs August 2025 and got 25% raise. Other staff got increases in Jan 2026 so my first will be Jan 2027 probably. New job has less stress, hybrid 2wfh and flexi hours on the other 3 days with a 10 minute longer commute.
