Will know in a few months, expecting 10% as a base (inflation 9% here, near or is highest in Europe).

Supposed to happen in April, but normally happens when the unions settle (anywhere from June to September) with backpay. I am not a union member, but we still have to wait for them.

I should get an increase in March … essentially the same month as I receive anniversary letters for an increase in my life cover, RA etc

This is the kakkest part of the year. Everything goes up (medical aid I am looking at you) but the COL adjusted salary only kicks in between March and May (depending on how the unions fight). Will probably be 5 or 6 %.

My previous employer was struggling, but they managed to turn the corner. My salary increase was 3.5%. Moved jobs for R100k p.a. bump in salary and got a pro-rata performance bonus based on number of months and they gave me a 5% increase.

So no complaints here.

No Increase, been unemployed since Feb 2023...
Anyone got a Job for me on the East Rand?

We averaged 6-10% for non promotional increases and 15-25% for promotional ones in 23/24

Will only hear in July as well, but probably between 6 and 8%
