As a second income I market a product for a company. I am the sole distributor between the manufacturer and the agents. I have no written agreement.

All orders ought to flow through me to the manufacturer, and then I send the order to the agent. I do not get paid until the agents have paid.

I am responsible for after sales service to the agents, as well as any one who have bought the product, and want replacement parts or have some sort of a query.

I have developed a website and hosting it on my account. I do not receive any remuneration for this site or the 5 other domains that I host for the owner.

Last week I received a notification of payment from one of the agents. On further enquiry, the agent informed me that the owner sold directly to him, and shafted me out of my commission.

What should I do?

1. Don’t rock the boat, I need the money. And bear a grudge.
2. Confront him to hear his side.
3. Deliver an invoice for the commission owed.
4. Steal some of the product to the amount owed to me, and sell it for my account. And lower myself to his level.

I think tell the truth, tell the knob that the agent informed you what happened. See what he has to say. Keep asking why, it might give him a guilty conscience. Hopefully

You have no written agreement, hence he can sell to whoever he wants to.

I recommend forgetting about it but rather suggesting an agreement. It can still be based on what happened.

If it happens again after that you can complain, now not at all.
