I have VOX internet for about 3 years now, serivce is okay never had any issues. Had Cool Idea before that they were awesome but when i moved houses VOX had the free set up which Cool Ideas didnt have. So I was on the 100/100 package at the time it was R1149.00 they upgraded me during lockdown to 200/200 , I saw the new price for the same package is R1099.00 Okay so inquired and was to.d that the new joining price and that I can "upgrade" to a lower package online or higher package if I wanted to. I dont have an issue with the affordability my question was does loyality cost more and it seems it does anywho moving on I see there is a 500/200 package per month for R50.00 more than what I am paying currently - Would you in my shoes get that package its only 50 bucks extra a months
I use a work laptop during the day(HP Latitude 5500 i7) - mostly teams meeting while my TV (Samsung Q80R) runs in the background mostly youtube premuim all connected via LAN 6 cable into a TP Link AX72 with WIFI 6 for my Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra and an Ematic 4K andriod box inthe bedroom connected to a Projector 1080p NEC
I also have a HP EliteOne 800G2 got it when the company was selling off "older" equipment last year or the year before cant remember although its in pristine condition and I paid like R800.00 for it. It is mostly off connected via LAN to the TP Link used mostly when I cant find a certain series that i am looking for , will get it from the high seas for me and then stream via plex to the andriod box or the Q80R

Just curious to get your opinion what you would do , stay on the 200/200 for R1149.00 or move to the 500/200 for R1199 per month ?

I enjoy watching streaming on 4K resolution

Sorry for all the extra information just thought if I put everything on here it would assist in making a decision :)

The question is, will it improved your quality of life if you already watching tv in 4k with no issues including Teams and Youtube? Do you download games perhaps and if you do, do you wait long for it to finish?

For me, if i download a lot of games or even movies or series then perhaps then I would consider higher download speeds.

Counter…. Do you come close to maxing out your 200 regularly? Maybe 100 / 50 might even be better and save you some money?
