Whatever happened to DigiChilli?

Do you guys still remember DigiChilli?
As far as I can remember they were the first ISP that offered cheap affordable uncapped ADSL.
I was part of the trial group, although I never took up the offer for an account.

I recall Dave going ballistic over guys that used download software that used more than 1 connection.

They got greedy and did exactly what Mweb are doing now.

They went from providing great service to heavy handed throttling, again it was claimed a small % was only suffering, but I'll ask.....where is Digichilli now?

Not quite sure if it was new management, poor decisions or both that lead them down that road though.

Who took over digichilli though ? I saw on public torrents the other day a ip starting with 41 resolving to 41.x.x.x@digichilli.co.za

Wonder what ISP that was then.....

They ran on infrastructure belonging to BCSnet. I think they were bought out by them when the business started dying.
