Two years later we have the end of the Jub Jub case, appeal pending.

Made me wonder about some other cases which seem to be going close to nowhere.

The two Eastern Cape brothers whose bus crashed somewhere near De Doorns.

The guy who killed cyclists in his mothers Hummer near Bloemfontein and then fled to Zim.

The guy who killed Mandela's niece at the time of the WC final.

I'm sure there are others I've forgotten but these three spring to mind.

I haven't read or heard much of those either. You'd think in Mandela's case it would receive more media coverage. And that story with the two cyclists changed so many times that I have no idea what's going on.

The one I wonder about from time to time is that police brutality case, where they roughed up a lot of people in a club or pub, including a woman.

Anyone have info?

Was that the Stellenbosch student pub incident ?

Then there was the woman who tried to run over a metro cop in JHB - and the taxi driver who dragged the lawyer.

Justice is very slow in SA.

I was really glad to see the murder charge upheld. Won't bring the kids back, but will hopefully make drunk and drugged drivers think twice in future.
